Lina Surianto had the honor of serving as Master of Ceremony at the Festival of India Youth Contest, one of the most vibrant cultural celebrations in the community. The event brought together hundreds of attendees to celebrate Indian culture, heritage, and traditions.

The Festival of India featured a rich program of cultural performances, traditional music, dance showcases, and community activities. As MC and contest coordinator, Lina worked with the Festival Director to conduct and plan the contest, bringing warmth, energy, and her signature ability to connect with diverse contestants.
From introducing contestants to engaging the crowd between acts, Lina ensured the event flow seamlessly while maintaining an atmosphere of joy and celebration throughout the day.

Lina’s experience as a public speaking coach and Toastmasters consultant made her a natural fit for the role, demonstrating how the skills she teaches translate directly into real-world impact.
“Being an MC at a contest in a cultural festival is about more than introductions,” says Lina. “It’s about honoring the participants, respecting the culture, and making every person in the audience feel welcome and included.”
